Course Description

Using Microsoft 365, this course will provide a hands-on overview and introduction to the most frequently used web-based apps available in microsoft365.com including: Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and OneDrive cloud-based document storage. Learn the core features of these apps, how they can create professional documents, simplify your workday, and make your team more productive. Learn how to save documents to the cloud and collaborate with others on document creation and editing. Please note: Prior knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.

 

Learner Outcomes

At the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Identify the features of microsoft365.com and compare working in web-based applications versus desktop applications

  • Explain how to share files in Microsoft applications (Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and apply different tools to collaborate with others in shared files

  • Describe the difference between saving files to OneDrive versus SharePoint

  • Illustrate the different functions in Teams by creating a team, channel, and file tree

  • Create a meeting in Outlook Calendar and join meeting via Teams
