This session will cover the main issues faced by executors: making sure you are dealing with a valid last will, the probate process, decisions the executor must make early in the administration, protecting estate assets, the executor's personal financial responsibilities, fees and expenses that can be charged to the estate, and dealing with beneficiaries, the court, government, banks and the Canada Revenue Agency.
