- [Course CAMP 1300: Mini LEGO® Robotics](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1009804): For Grades 1-3: Bring your friends, or meet new ones, and explore the amazing world of robots, mechanisms and other innovative creations using LEGO® . In a playful learning environment, we’ll use basic coding to bring creations to life, starting with entry level projects and moving on to limitless creative design possibilities. This week is full of hands-on learning and creative thinking. *Please note, while we include a few intentional screen-free activities and building the robotics is a hands on activity - the bulk of the learning relates to coding and happens online.  
- [Course CAMP 1500: Mini Chef Academy](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1009894): For children entering grades 1-3  Do you love trying new things, creating tasty concoctions and playing with your food? At Mini Chef Academy you will do all of this and more. Campers will be taken on a culinary adventure blending, mixing, pouring, flipping, and of course eating all the scrumptious, mouth - watering cuisine. Be sure to bring your imagination and appetite to this camp.

Liquid, solid and gas, matter, motion and mass. This camp is all about scientists gone mad! So throw on your lab coat, head to the laboratory and get ready to embrace your inner scientist. Develop your own hypotheses and make your very own experiments. We will be playing with things that move and making ooey-gooey concoctions all week long!

Guided by the interests of the campers, we will explore how local plants and animals survive and thrive in the Okanagan. The indoor and outdoor activities will allow campers to engage in a variety of hands-on science activities, eco-art projects and shared learning. Bring your sense of adventure to this camp!

With sparkle, imagination, and a little bit of magic, who knows… you just might discover your inner unicorn this week!

So do we! Join us this week to unleash your inner artist. This camp is all about letting your creativity flow as you explore different artistic techniques and bring your works of art to life. Experiment with various art forms such as sketching, painting or sculpting and maybe even find a new passion while you're at it. Whether you're a seasoned artist or looking to try something new, there is no doubt this camp will be art-tastic!

Prepare to run, jump, climb and race. We will play games, work on our physical stamina, challenge each other using both our brains and body. This week is full of challenges, puzzles, races and fun! Don't forget the sun screen, as we will be mostly outside!

Join us and explore the engineering behind building bridges, airplanes, machines and structures. Using different supplies and material you will create cardboard forts, spaghetti structures and maybe even a robot. Gear up for lots of fun building cool prototypes!
- [Course CAMP 1312: Mini LEGO® BricQ Builders](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1010317): For children entering grade 1-3 in the fall:     You can never have too much LEGO®—especially when you’re building, testing, and discovering how things work! In this camp, young creators will use LEGO® Education BricQ kits to design contraptions, explore force and motion, and experiment with gears, springs, and simple machines. You will put your builds to the test through races, strength trials, and friendly competitions, learning how small adjustments can lead to big results. Along the way, themed crafts and open-ended free-build challenges will be woven into the lesson plan, helping spark curiosity, creativity and a love of engineering through play.

Tumble, jump, stunt and dance, this camp has a little bit of everything! Have fun while developing self-confidence and learning the true definition of trust and teamwork. We will also be making bows and at the end of the week family and friends will be invited for a grand finale. 
- [Course CAMP 1509: Mini Soft Arts - Creative Stitching for Little Hands](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1010686): For children entering grades 1-3 in the fall: Cute little soft arts are everywhere, but did you ever want to make your own little owl or sock octopus? During this week you will design, cut, trim and stitch your way to cute little projects. From stuffies, felt work, gifts to mini-embroidery - this week is full of hand-crafted fun! There are projects for all abilities, as well as a lot of fun activities to do while we rest our little hands. Supplies are provided, but campers can bring in their own materials if they wish.

Everything is ooey and gooey in this camp! Squish, squeeze, squirt and stretch your science skills. Make slime, bubbles and dough. Come up with creative concoctions and extraordinary experiments. This will be an epic weeklong adventure full of maps, pirate hats and treasure chests! Let's chart the waters of Okanagan Lake and if we are lucky, have an encounter with Ogopogo. Explore famous ships, dive into the aquatic life, and examine the night sky to figure out where this adventure will take us next!

Designed to ignite curiosity about dinosaurs and the environment, this camp blends education with thrilling activities, like building your own Dino Habitat, Jurassic Science and discovering the fascinating world of dinosaurs and fossil formation. Campers will learn all about the different dinosaur species and the processes that shaped our planet millions of years ago!
- [Course CAMP 1302: Mini Digital Animation](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1010840): For children entering grades 1-3 in the fall: Do you have a story to tell or a lot of creative ideas? Do you like playing around with technology? Then this week is for you! Start by exploring the art of storytelling, then develop your characters and sketch your ideas. When you’re ready, use computer software to make your characters come alive. By the end of the week, you will have your own little animation to show your family and friends!

Bracelets, necklaces, charms and rings. Design and create jewelry and crafts you can keep, or give them away to friends and family. Let your imagination run wild and see what kind of beautiful styles you can make from scratch. Put pieces together, invent things and make things match!

As a group we will decide what type of play to put on, set objectives, advance our teamwork skills, increase the mastery of acting and bring the theatre to life!

Once you've created your tunes, step into OC’s professional sound studio to see how music is recorded—then work with a studio engineer to record a track of their very own! Perfect for those who love music, singing, crafting, and trying new things!

We will draw and sketch out ideas, discuss different colour combinations, cut and hand stitch, glue, and bejewel boring clothing items. Please bring any clothing items you have that need a re-design or some flair added to them.

This week we will take you deep into the ocean. We will check out fish, whales, dolphins and sea horses. How do they live? Who eats who? Did you know that 70% of the worlds oxygen comes from plants in the ocean? Join us and get a glimpse of a world that we don't get to sea every day.
- [Course CAMP 1705: Mini Olympics](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1011235): For children entering grades 1-3 in the fall: Are you ready to go for the GOLD? Get your blood pumping with races, challenges and competitions. We will take a step back in time and explore the origins of the world's largest and one of the oldest international sporting events. What do the rings represent? How do they light the torch? You will challenge your fellow campers in different events every day. We will keep track of the points and at the end of the week we will have a closing ceremony with a podium and awards!

Just imagine - all of this will take place in a real theatre where your friends and family can come to see your performance at the end of the camp.

Join Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad as they explore the Mushroom Kingdom, participate in coin jumps, toss a few hats, compete in micro cart racing, and help save the world from Bowser and the rest of the Koopa Troop. Led by industry professionals and mentors, this camp fosters confidence, teamwork, and a can-do attitude, showing girls that they have what it takes to succeed in traditionally male-dominated fields. Build Her Up Camp is not just about learning trades; it's about building futures, breaking barriers, and unlocking potential. Perfect for girls who love creating, problem-solving, and discovering new possibilities, this camp is their first step toward becoming tomorrow's trailblazers in the trades! *Please note that this camp exists to foster confidence in those who may not feel traditionally welcomed in trades environments. Join us for a week of this progression-based sport that will utilize goal-setting skills, develop self-awareness and promote a positive perspective on exercise. We will also discuss health and fitness, make our own bows and invite family and friends to a final cheer performance at the end of the week!   
- [Course CAMP 2104: Jr. CSI Meets OC](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1011584): For children entering grades 4-6 in the fall:  Get ready to unravel the mysteries behind forensic science and discover the many ways police use it to lock up criminals. Visit the College's science lab and the campus security office, where you will use your investigative minds to try and solve the many mysteries at Okanagan College. You and your CSI partners will analyze suspects fingerprints and DNA. The mysteries are waiting!
- [Course CAMP 2526: Jr. Studio Recording Producer](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1011611): For children entering grades 4-6 in the fall:  If you want to discover the world of music, recording, studio engineering, and mixing and mastering, this is the camp for! You’ll explore the equipment in OC’s professional recording studio, get an introduction to music production software, play with microphone set up, record tracks, and mix and master to create an artistic masterpiece. - [Course CAMP 2000: Jr. Girls Ready, Set, Go Kart](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1011814): For children entering grades 4-6 in the fall:  Ready to get your hands dirty and love going fast, then you should join us this week for the coolest camp on wheels! If you like racing, have an interest in taking things apart and like to figure out why things don't work then this camp is for you! We will work on small engines, replace tires, fix brakes and make sure the steering is working properly. Then we'll decorate our karts before we build the track and take the Karts out for a spin! All karts will be prepped so they are ready for the last day of camp, which is RACE DAY! Friends and family are invited to come and support your race team. *Please note, this camp exists to foster confidence in those who may not feel traditionally welcomed in a trades environment. We encourage those who identify as girls or non-binary to sign up!

We will be making crazy concoctions and discovering different reactions all week long!
- [Course CAMP 2319: Jr. Super Car Frenzy](https://continuingstudies.okanagan.bc.ca/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=1011952): For children entering grades 4-6:  Spoiler alert! You are in for super-charged fun this week! What makes a Bugatti the fastest car in the world? How are Tesla's so energy-efficient?  We'll dive into the science behind your favorite supercars while mixing in a lot of hands-on fun. Build your own supercars out of various materials and then challenge your friends to a race. Get a taste of the automotive world when you check out OC's automotive shops. Who knows, maybe you will be driving your own supercar design one day!

Even cooler if YOU were to design the object! This week we will draw, tweak and design items using a bunch of different mediums. You will be working on the computer with industry software to create your own master pieces. When you are happy with your projects we will have a couple of them printed for you to take home and display.

Fresh flora will be brought into the classroom for students to draw from life, and photographic techniques for close-up floral compositions will also be introduced. Throughout the session, students will combine three creative approaches: observing and drawing from life, capturing images with a camera, and using imagination to develop unique compositions. These methods will also be applied to landscape work. A mix of watercolour, coloured pencil, and/or acrylic paints—especially bold, expressive colours—will be encouraged, though those who prefer softer pastel tones are welcome to explore those as well. Each participant will be guided to discover their preferred colour palette as they express their personal connection to the season through their floral and landscape artworks.
