Course Description

This course includes risk factors in heart disease, how to recognize heart attacks, adult CPR procedures for the single rescuer, AED training and certification and adult choking procedures.  You will be able to begin emergency resuscitation and cardiac care while waiting for a skilled ambulance team to arrive.  Certification will be awarded upon successful completion of practical and written evaluation.  No prerequisite required.
