Course Description

For youth entering grades 7-9 in the fall:

Hang out at OC this summer and learn the secrets of building your own custom longboard deck in a professional shop. This exciting project will teach the art of skateboard making and also includes a free standing or wall mounted skateboard rack to display your craftsmanship. Roll out of the week on your own custom longboard and be able to skate through the summer. 
*Please Note, Grip Tape, Truck/Bearing Installation Hardware, Wheels and Trucks are not included in the cost of the program, please be sure to price them out prior to registering as they can be expensive.

Payment and Registration:

Payment for camp is required at time of registration.

Registration must be completed online. You will need to pay with a VISA or MasterCard credit card or VISA or MasterCard credit debit card only.

Section Notes

Trucks and grip tape are not provided. Please make sure to research prices as they can be pricy. Closed-toed shoes and long pants are a must for the shop areas.

What to bring to camp:

Please pack a backpack that fits your child properly with the following items daily:

A large water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.

Clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and participation in physical activities outside.

A nutritious lunch including 2 healthy snacks. Due to allergies, please do not include any nut butters or nut snacks. Campers will not be able to purchase food at camp and will not have access to the cafeteria or vending machines.

Emergency supplies if applicable. E.g., masks, inhalers, medication for allergies etc. On the first day, let the staff know where the emergency supplies are in your child’s backpack. 

Please note: we recommend labelling all personal items. If items go missing, please check the Lost & Found. All unclaimed items will be disposed of at the end of summer. Our staff will do their best to help campers keep track of their items, however, we will not be held responsible for any lost or broken items.
