Course Description

For youth entering grade 4-6 in the fall:   

Get ready to race around Okanagan College! In this team-based summer camp inspired by The Amazing Race, campers will work together to tackle daily challenges, navigate local landmarks, and complete creative problem-solving tasks. Each day, teams receive clue envelopes that send them around campus or to nearby destinations—parks, community spaces, and hidden gems unique to the area. With new twists and route markers each day, you will build confidence, leadership skills, and resilience while exploring the area in a whole new way!

Payment and Registration:

Payment for camp is required at time of registration.

Registration must be completed online. You will need to pay with a VISA or MasterCard credit card or VISA or MasterCard credit debit card only.

Section Notes

Campers will experience many different activities throughout the week, many of which take place outdoors. Make sure survivors are equipped for outdoor activities and bring a pair of running shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle.

What to bring to camp:

  • Please pack a backpack that fits your child properly with the following items daily: 
  • A large water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. 
  • Clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and participation in physical activities outside. 
  • A nutritious lunch including 2 healthy snacks. Due to allergies, please do not include any nut butters or nut snacks. Campers will not be able to purchase food at camp and will not have access to the cafeteria or vending machines. 
  • Emergency supplies if applicable. E.g., masks, inhalers, medication for allergies etc. On the first day, let the staff know where the emergency supplies are in your child’s backpack.

Please note: we recommend labelling all personal items. If items go missing, please check the Lost & Found. All unclaimed items will be disposed of at the end of summer. Our staff will do their best to help campers keep track of their items, however, we will not be held responsible for any lost or broken items.
