Course Description

Gain the essential skills and confidence to respond to emergencies at home or work with this interactive one-day Emergency First Aid and CPR course. Learn to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies, perform CPR, manage choking, airway and breathing emergencies, prevent disease transmission, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). This course meets workplace first aid training requirements for the Federal or Provincial Authorities and meets the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standard Z1210 for Basic first aid training.

Hand sanitizing is highly recommended while in class. Wear appropriate clothing (you will be performing CPR and other scenarios on the floor). Please inform your instructor if you have any allergies before class.  For example: Latex or extreme allergies to food or chemicals. Break and lunchtime can be discussed with your instructor.
