Kelowna FAQs

Note: These FAQs are specific to Kelowna camps. Please review the All camps FAQs for additional information.

Where do I park, and do I have to pay? 

Parking lots 2, 3, 4 or 5 which are on the corner of KLO and Campus East Rd. View parking map. Parking is free during pick up and drop off.  

For trades camps enter through the main entrance off KLO and go left, park in lot 16 and enter the trades building.  

Where is the admin Camp office? 

The Camp OC admin office is located in A108 – Continuing Studies office.

Where do I go for drop off/Sign in and pick up/sign out? 

Drop off and pick up will be done in your child’s camp classroom. You will receive an email with information about where to go a week prior to your child’s camp.  

What happens first day of camp? 

Campers are dropped off in their individual camp classrooms.  

We have a morning assembly at 9 am each week on the first day, to go over the Camp OC rules and give campers a tour of the campus. 

Where is After Camp Care? 

After Camp Care is located in the cafeteria – the F building. View map.

Why are there no Cooking Camps for grades 7-9 and 10-12? 

Unfortunately, due to other college programs scheduled for the summer we were unable to offer any Cooking Camps for grades 7-9, and 10-12.   

What happens at lunch time in Kelowna?  

We offer a variety of activities both inside and outside to best accommodate the wide array of lunch time needs for all kids. We have sports equipment, sprinklers to cool off in, chalk & other activities outside for those children who need some fresh air and activity.  

In the cafeteria we have foosball, ping pong, coloring and a movie playing for those kids who may need some more relaxing lunch time activities.
