Volunteer Program at Camp OC

We are so excited that you are considering joining Camp OC this summer as a volunteer! Camp OC offers educational and fun, weeklong theme-based camps and programs for children and youth

To be eligible to volunteer you must be:

  • Entering grade 9-12 in the Fall
  • Helpful and engaging
  • Professional, punctual, and reliable
  • Courteous and respectful

What you will be doing as a volunteer:

  • Helping teachers in the class with demonstrations/projects
  • Assisting campers with tasks and activities
  • Encouraging campers to engage with camp activities
  • Spending time with campers who require extra attention
  • Helping with supplies and materials
  • Assisting with supervision of campers
  • Having fun!

Camp OC Volunteer Orientation and Workshop

All Camp OC volunteers are required to attend the Volunteer Orientation and Workshop meeting, unless otherwise agreed upon. Please see below for dates at your campus.

What to expect: You will get to meet the Camp OC staff, tour the campus, go over expectations and responsibilities, ask any questions you might have, prepare you for the summer activities and eat some yummy snacks.

What to bring: WCB form (please pick one up at your school's career counselor/adviser)
