ELC 006 - Construction Electrician IP Refresher
Course Description
This IP Refresher course has been designed to prepare individuals currently working in the Construction Electrical field to write the Construction Electrician Interprovincial Exam. The course will cover code and theory review towards preparing students to write the Red Seal IP Exam.
Students must satisfy the minimum requirements as established by the SkilledTrades BC(STBC). Contact the SkilledTradesBC (tel. 778-328-8700 or toll free within BC 1-866-660-6011) to determine eligibility and to schedule an examination. Information pertaining to the eligibility requirements for writing the IP/TQ exam must be obtained from SkilledTradesBC at www.skilledtradesbc.ca or 1-866-660-6011.Note: you have 60 days to complete the refresher course once you have been granted access.
Prerequisites
All participants must provide Okanagan College with their SkilledTradesBC Trade Worker ID #
Access to the online course will be granted once one of the following is met:
1) Transcript showing you have completed the final level of training, or
2) Transcript showing you have been unsuccessful in passing the IP Exam, or
3) A copy of your Trades Qualifier (Challenger) Application Approval Letter that was provided to you by SkilledTradesBC. Note: letter must be valid within the last 24 months. Letter can be emailed to trades@okanagan.bc.ca
