Course Description

For children entering grades 1-3 

Do you love trying new things, creating tasty concoctions and playing with your food? At Mini Chef Academy you will do all of this and more. Campers will be taken on a culinary adventure blending, mixing, pouring, flipping, and of course eating all the scrumptious, mouth - watering cuisine. Be sure to bring your imagination and appetite to this camp.

Payment and Registration:

Payment for camp is required at time of registration.

Registration must be completed online. You will need to pay with a VISA or MasterCard credit card or VISA or MasterCard credit debit card only.

Campers will embark on a culinary journey to create delicious food while learning skills such as mixing, stirring, pouring, flipping, and of course, tasting their own creations. The Chefs will be working in a kitchen environment and for safety reasons closed toe shoes must be worn and long pants are recommended. Additionally, Mini Chefs will have the opportunity to learn where to find ingredients at local grocery stores; a field trip table will be provided on the first day of camp.

What to bring to camp:

  • Please pack a backpack that fits your child properly with the following items daily: 
  • A large water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. 
  • Clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and participation in physical activities outside. 
  • A nutritious lunch including 2 healthy snacks. Due to allergies, please do not include any nut butters or nut snacks. Campers will not be able to purchase food at camp and will not have access to the cafeteria or vending machines. 
  • Emergency supplies if applicable. E.g., masks, inhalers, medication for allergies etc. On the first day, let the staff know where the emergency supplies are in your child’s backpack. 
  • Change of clothes just in case your camper enjoys water play activities during breaks

Please note: we recommend labelling all personal items. If items go missing, please check the Lost & Found. All unclaimed items will be disposed of at the end of summer. Our staff will do their best to help campers keep track of their items, however, we will not be held responsible for any lost or broken items
