Course Description

This course offers candidates the opportunity to refresh their Advanced First Aid (AFA) skills in alignment with WorkSafeBC and the CSA Standard CSA Z1210-17. To qualify for the Advanced First Aid recertification, participants must hold a valid (non-expired) OFA or Advanced First Aid certification. Those with expired certifications are required to complete the full two-week program. For more information, please contact your nearest Okanagan College campus.

Please bring a note-taking method (pen + paper, or an electronic method) for anything you want to keep track of during the class.
IMPORTANT: Please bring Government Issued ID (required for certification). 
IMPORTANT: Be prepared to remove your outdoor footwear. Wear socks or bring indoor shoes.
Hand sanitizing is highly recommended while in class. Wear appropriate clothing (you will be performing CPR and other scenarios on the floor). Please inform your instructor if you have any allergies before class.  For example: Latex or extreme allergies to food or chemicals. Break and lunchtime can be discussed with your instructor.
