Course Description

The Transportation Endorsement (TE) course, approved by WorkSafeBC, provides specialized training for Basic First Aid, Standard First Aid, and Intermediate First Aid attendants. It focuses on advanced first aid techniques for safely transporting injured or ill workers to medical facilities.

This course is particularly valuable for workplaces located more than 20 minutes from emergency services, ensuring proper care and transport of both conscious and unconscious individuals using best practices in emergency transport. Participants will learn patient handling, packaging, and spinal motion restriction techniques commonly used by healthcare professionals.

Prerequisite: Basic First Aid Certificate (OFA 1, EFA) or an equivalent or higher qualification
