Course Description
High-voltage electric vehicles are here to stay. Red Seal Automotive Service Technicians and 3rd and 4th-year apprentices can build on their existing understanding of conventional vehicle systems to develop the necessary skills to safely diagnose and service them. Completing the six-hour online self-paced module in advance of the 30-hour classroom/shop training sessions is a must.Notes
This course is StrongerBC future skills grant eligible for dates starting between September 1 2024 - March 31 2025.

Prerequisites
Prerequisite: Red Seal certified ASTs or registered ITA AST third- or fourth-year apprentices.
A valid Personal BCEID (basic will not work) or valid BC Service number is required to access the online exam. Please make sure this is set up prior to the start date as it can take up to a week to get validated.
