Course Description

For youth entering grades 7-9 in the fall:

Discover your inner strength at this empowerment-focused camp. Over the course of the week, you'll build self-esteem and confidence with activities centered on self-care, guided meditations and yoga. You'll develop a deeper awareness of both your mental and physical wellbeing while enhancing your communication skills. Learn how to make healthier snack choices and understand how eating right can improve how you feel. We’ll discuss ways to create a more supportive and positive online social media presence, how to stay safe in this digital world, and how to navigate social media influencers. To wrap up the week, you’ll create a vision board to visualize your future with intention, purpose and clarity.

Please note: While this camp is open to all genders, the activities will be tailored toward women and girls.

What to bring to camp?

Please pack a backpack that fits your child properly with the following items daily:

A large water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.

Clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and participation in physical activities outside.

A nutritious lunch including 2 healthy snacks. Due to allergies, please do not include any nut butters or nut snacks. Campers will not be able to purchase food at camp and will not have access to the cafeteria or vending machines.

Emergency supplies if applicable. E.g., mask, inhalers, medication for allergies etc. On the first day, let the staff know where the emergency supplies are in your child’s backpack.

Please note: we recommend labeling all personal items. If items go missing, please check the Lost & Found. All unclaimed items will be disposed of at the end of summer. Our staff will do their best to help campers keep track of their items, however we will not be held responsible for any lost or broken items.
