Course Description

Welcome to the world of cloud computing. IT industry demand for professionals versed in both on-premises and cloud infrastructures is soaring. Learners will gain a solid technical foundation to prepare for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam. Learner Outcomes

At the end of this course, learners will be able to: 

  1. Understand and communicate AWS concepts. 

  1. Define AWS terminology. 

  1. Identify cost control measures and estimate AWS costs. 

  1. Design data flow to and from AWS 

  1. Select the most appropriate AWS service based on security and data requirements and database design. 

  1. Manage the lift and shift of an on-premise architecture to an AWS cloud-based architecture. 

  1. Design and deploy highly available, secure, scalable and fault-tolerant AWS systems.

The following computer requirements are needed to successfully complete this course: 

  • Personal computer with Windows 10 or Windows 11 or macOS 10.11*  

  • High-speed Internet connection  

  • Webcam, microphone, and speaker are required for students to engage with instructors 

  • Word 2019 for Windows or mac (or equivalent)
