Course Description
The Intermediate First Aid course, aligned with CSA Standard Z1210-17 and recognized by WorkSafeBC, equips participants with essential skills to respond to workplace emergencies. This 14-hour program covers key first aid techniques, including minor wound care, upper limb immobilization, CPR, and obstructed airway management.
Designed for industries near hospitals, this course provides the practical skills needed for effective emergency response. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a 3-year certification.
- Must be at least 16 years of age to be certified.
- In good health and physical condition.
- Provide valid photo identification before examinations/at time of course.
- All class hours are mandatory for certification.
