HLT 253 - Basic Life Support recertification

Course Description

This 2-hour recertification course is designed to refresh and enhance participants' confidence and proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS) skills. It is tailored for professionals with a duty to respond in emergency situations. Participants will review critical techniques, including performing rapid assessments, administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and effectively using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The course also covers airway obstruction management, assisted ventilation, and special considerations for Basic life Saving in a team environment. 

**Current certificate must not be expired

Certification

Successful participants will receive a 1-year Basic Life Support certification (digital certificate issued upon completion).
